Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

When you create a family profile, we collect the information needed to arrange safe childcare: your name and contact details, household address, children's names and ages, allergies and medical notes, emergency contacts, pets, and care instructions. Sitter applicants provide application details including experience, availability, references, and background-check consent.

We also collect account and billing information, booking and request history, and messages you exchange with our concierge team.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to review and approve profiles, match families with sitters, process payments and credits, send booking confirmations and service updates, and provide concierge support. We may contact you about your bookings, membership or package status, and service-related changes.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Sharing with sitters

To keep children safe, sitters receive only the information they need for a confirmed booking: the family's name, the children in their care, ages, relevant allergy or medical notes, and care instructions for the scheduled visit. Full household profiles, documents, and contact details are not shared with sitters without your concierge's involvement in the placement.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by our payment processor. We never store full card numbers on our systems. Payment records are used to track bookings, credits, packages, and memberships, and for receipts and reconciliation.

5. Emails and messages

By creating an account you consent to receive service-related communications such as booking confirmations, completion updates, and account notices. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time; service messages necessary to operate your bookings will continue.

In-app messages from your concierge appear in your family dashboard Messages area.

6. Children's information

We collect children's details only as necessary to arrange safe, appropriate care. This information is shared only with caregivers assigned to a confirmed booking, as described above. We do not use children's information for marketing.

7. Data retention and deletion

You may request deletion of your family profile at any time by contacting your concierge. When a profile is deleted, booking and payment history needed for record-keeping is retained only as long as required, and the profile can no longer be used to request care. You may create a new account later with the same email.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards, including access controls and encrypted connections, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices

You may review and update your family profile at any time from your dashboard, contact your concierge to correct information, or request deletion as described above. For sitter applicants, you may withdraw an application by contacting us.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
