Terms of Service
Effective June 29, 2026 · BL!SS Childcare (BL!SS Babysitters)
By creating an account, purchasing a membership or booking package, submitting a childcare request, or using our website or services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

BL!SS Childcare ("BL!SS," "we," "our," or "us") is a childcare referral and placement agency connecting families with independent childcare professionals including babysitters, teachers, nannies, and event caregivers. Providers are generally independent contractors unless otherwise stated.
2. Eligibility
Users must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information, complete a Family Profile, agree to these Terms, and receive approval before accessing booking features.
3. Family account approval
Account creation does not automatically activate services. Every family profile is reviewed before approval. Until approved, families cannot submit requests, purchase memberships or packages, or access booking features.
4. Accurate information
Families agree to provide truthful information regarding household members, children, allergies, medical concerns, emergency contacts, pets, and care instructions.
5. Booking requests
Submitting a request does not guarantee caregiver availability. BL!SS works to make the best match based on availability, experience, location, and family preferences.
6. Memberships & booking packages
Memberships and booking packages are available after approval. Unless otherwise stated, memberships are non-transferable, credits belong to the purchasing family, cannot be redeemed for cash, and may expire if disclosed at purchase. Membership credits apply to eligible bookings within the current billing period as described at purchase.
7. Payments
Payments are securely processed through approved payment processors. Payment is required before services are confirmed unless otherwise agreed.
8. Cancellations & refunds
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before a booking may qualify for a refund less processing fees. Membership, search, and placement fees are generally non-refundable once services begin.
9. Independent providers
BL!SS screens providers but cannot guarantee future performance. Families should communicate expectations directly with caregivers.
10. Safety
Families agree to provide a safe environment and accurate household information. Providers may end services immediately if conditions are unsafe.
11. Family responsibilities
Families agree to treat caregivers respectfully, provide accurate information, communicate changes promptly, and pay applicable fees.
12. Communications
By creating an account, families consent to receive service-related communications and may opt out of marketing emails.
13. Privacy
Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Reasonable safeguards are used, though absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
14. Intellectual property
All BL!SS branding, logos, content, and software are the property of BL!SS Childcare and may not be used without permission.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BL!SS is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service, except where prohibited by law.
16. Account suspension
Accounts may be suspended or terminated for fraud, false information, non-payment, harassment, unsafe behavior, or violations of these Terms.
17. Changes
BL!SS may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
